Certification fees change, job outlooks are revised and studies are updated. When something on Fitness Career Guide is wrong or out of date, we want to fix it.
How to report a mistake
Send it through the contact page. Include the page address, the sentence that is wrong and, if you can, a source that shows the correct information. You do not need to give a reason or an affiliation.
What we do
- We check the report against the original source and any source you send.
- If the page is wrong, we correct it. A material correction, one that changes a fact a reader might rely on, is noted at the end of the article with the date it was made.
- Small fixes such as spelling, a broken link or formatting are made without a note.
- If a price, fee or term has simply changed, we update it and its “checked on” date.
What is not a correction
We do not change a page because a company would prefer different wording, and we do not remove accurate information on request. A disagreement about a product or program is welcome through the contact page; we will look again at the evidence, and the page will say what the evidence supports.
